Why should the sprayer be cleaned

Before spraying two kinds of pesticides that cannot or should not be mixed, the sprayer must be cleaned, otherwise, it will not only reduce the efficacy of the pesticide, but also easily produce pesticide damage and cause undue losses. The specific cleaning method is:

1.Plastic bucket sprayer

Pour 5% hot alkaline water (water temperature above 60℃) to fill the spray rod, nozzle and other parts, shake every 10 minutes, after 2 to 3 hours, pour out the lye, and then use water Rinse 2 to 4 times.

2. Iron barrel sprayer

First pour 1% black alum water (ie ferrous sulfate solution) soak for 2 hours, then rinse with water for 2 to 4 times; or first soak in hot alkaline water (same method as above) for 1 hour, then rinse with hot alkaline water Once again, finally rinse with clean water 4 to 5 times.

In addition, electric sprayers used for spraying herbicides generally have poor cleaning effects and will cause chronic phytotoxicity to crops, affecting crop growth and even final yield. Therefore, a special sprayer is required for spraying herbicides.
