Today, we follow the production flow to explore the seven core manufacturing units at this facility.
Viewed from aerial footage of the industrial park, rows of standardised factory buildings are arranged in orderly fashion, forming Hightop's ‘smart manufacturing headquarters’. Our first stop is the finished product display workshop. Excavators, lawn mowers and other equipment, freshly completed and passed final inspection, stand neatly arranged. Their gleaming exteriors and precise markings highlight the meticulous craftsmanship. Quality control personnel are conducting final verification of performance parameters using specialised instruments, ensuring every unit leaving the factory meets industry standards.
Moving into the mini excavator workshop, intricate craftsmanship lies beneath the roar of machinery: beside CNC equipment, skilled technicians assemble hydraulic arms using intelligent fixtures, with millimetre-level precision ensuring the equipment's agile manoeuvrability. ‘This series prioritises lightweight construction and mobility, finding widespread application in municipal emergency repairs and small-scale infrastructure projects,’ explained the workshop manager.
The adjacent excavator assembly workshop serves as the main stage for heavy machinery: steel frames, engines, and track components fill the workstations. Workers meticulously follow assembly drawings, coordinating with auxiliary hoisting equipment to integrate multi-tonne mechanical arms with the main body. Sparks from welding intertwine with the lights of intelligent inspection devices as the primary structure of a heavy excavator rapidly takes shape. Complementing this, the excavator undercarriage workshop serves as the equipment's ‘foundation of strength’: high-strength steel plates, precision-formed through CNC punching, are assembled into chassis frames via automated welding systems. Following vibration-damping module calibration, the undercarriage ensures the machinery can withstand the rigours of complex operating conditions, including severe jolts and heavy loads.
Through the logistics corridor, the production rhythm in the lawnmower workshop is brisker: workers assemble housings, blades, motors and drive systems according to standardised procedures, completing an entire garden lawnmower within minutes. ‘These machines prioritise convenience and are now supplied in bulk to leading domestic landscaping firms,’ explains a workshop technician.
At the production line's terminus lie the packaging workshop and dispatch area: protective-treated equipment is transferred by forklift to packing stations, where it undergoes standardised wooden crate packaging and labelling before being conveyed to the dispatch zone for shipment. ‘Today's shipments to Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces are ready for dispatch. Subsequent orders will be dispatched nationwide according to production schedules. Over on the other side are units destined for Europe and North America, which will next be loaded into containers to ensure they reach customers intact,’ stated the dispatch coordinator. As the dispatch team completed their final checks, the engines of the delivery lorries began to roar into life.
