Because most pesticides have a certain corrosive effect on the sprayer, after stopping it, it should be washed with alkaline water in time, and then rinsed with clean water. Especially after spraying Bordeaux mixture and other corrosive pesticides, it is best to soak in alkaline water for 12 hours. Take care to prevent rust. All parts that can be disassembled must be removed and cleaned. The inner pipe wall of the spray rod and nozzle should be painted with engine oil to avoid damp and rust.
If the sprayer is not to be used for a short period of time, the main parts should be cleaned, wiped dry and installed, and stored in a cool and dry place. If it is not used for a long time, grease all metal parts to prevent rust.
In addition, the core components of the electric sprayer are the water pump and the battery. Although there are several types of pumps on the market, these pumps are afraid of clogging. Therefore, it is necessary to use clean water to prepare the medicine. When adding water, it must be filtered with a small filter to prevent clogging.
Also, a special reminder to vegetable farmers: After the sprayer is deactivated, its battery should be fully charged and placed in a dry place in the shade, and charged once every one or two months. If the storage time becomes shorter, add distilled water to it in time.
